Masks

In New York City in 1997, Lynne made and sold 60 masks inspired by Buddhist themes for Tricycle magazine's Transformation Ball, including dakinis, Mahakala (a wrathful protector of Buddhist teachings), Five Wisdoms/Five Poisons, a snow lion, garudas and some children's masks. Photos of these masks were featured on the gala invitation.

 

The punk inspired paper masks were made when Lynne lived in the East Village in NYC and were made and sold for quick and easy Halloween costumes.
