Halloween Personas and Decor

Lynne's Halloween personas are inspired by various themes of transformation, witches, goddesses and other worldly beings. Every year she brings out her large collection of Halloween decorations and toys and loves to create tableaus and decorate for parties.

In 1997, Lynne performed at "A Naga for the 90s" (the blue body painted figure) as part of a Tableau Vivant organized by Laurie Anderson for Tricycle: The Buddhist Quarterly's Transformation Ball.  A "naga" is a supernatural being (part human and part snake) who protects Buddhist teachings, traditionally in bodies of water. Her naga protects texts on CDs and hard discs worn on her belt. Lynne also made numerous masks that were featured on the invitation (see Masks section).
